A stop at the Open Book
On May 10, I will be making an unofficial tour stop at The Open Book, a highly recommended gay bookstore in Sacramento, CA, to sign copies around one in the afternoon. I’ve heard great things about this store, and I’m excited to make a visit. In other tour news, I will also be reading at the Authors Cafe at the National Lesbian and Gay Journalists Convention in New York (unfortunately only open to convention attendees–if you’re a journalist, check it out). And my next New York tour stop is a group reading with David Ebershoff, Andrew Solomon, and Philip Galanes at Therapy lounge on May 19–it’s open to all, and the $5 donation is only “suggested,” so if you’re on a budget, just say that I told you it was free. With four gay writers present (two of us who are debut novelists, and the other two noted, award-winning bestsellers), there’s sure to be some stimulating conversation.
Meanwhile, I keep getting emails from more and more gay book groups across the country who are reading the book. I promise to post a reading group guide on the site as soon as I have a chance. If you need one right now, email me, and I’ll do my best to get it to you.
