Readers tell me to hurry up

In the last month, I’ve been consumed with working on novel #2, aka “the boarding school book.” (I’ve been playing around with a few different titles and don’t want to commit to one until I’m absolutely sure of it.) My goal is to finish a draft of it by the end of the summer, so I won’t be updating this news page as regularly until I’m done. If the reader response I’ve gotten about The Trouble Boy is any indication (”Please hurry up and finish your next novel!”), I’d better keep cracking.

As far as emails, I LOVE all the emails that I’ve gotten from fans. I read every single one, and appreciate them all. I’ll try to respond to specific questions, but due to the volume, from now on, I may not be able to write responses back to every single email I receive (well, I could respond to every one, but then the next book might not come out until 2010). But I still love getting them, so keep them coming!
